Why not try to Grow your own fruit and veg this year. No matter the space, you can grow your own fruits and veg. A large variety of different fruits and veg can be grown in the garden or even on a window sill or balcony.

Seed potatoes have arrived and are ready for you to start chitting them at home. Grow your own potaoes in containers or in the ground! We have a selection of seed potaoes in large 2kg bags which are ideal for growing in a large bed in the garden or allotment.2kg £5.99 or 2 sacks for £10. But if you have a smaller area or want to grow them in pots on the balcony, we have smaller taster packs available from just £2.49.

Onions and Shallots are also in stock and ready to be planted. Again, you can grow you own in pots or in the border! They are low maintenance and ideal for the beginner grower.

We have a vast selection of seeds in stock which are easy to grow and it is the perfect time to start sowing. Broad beans, Chillis, Tomatoes, salad leaves and more. You will also find a good range of seed trays, peat-free pots, plastic pots and propergators available in the shop as well as peat free seed compost.

Fruits and veg for growing in containers (ideal for patio gardens and balconies):

Aubergines, Chillis, Salad leaves, Kale, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Herbs, Radish, Dwarf peas and pea shoots, Courgettes, Beetroot, Carrots, cucumbers, strawberries, Rhubarb, Blueberries, Blackcurrants, Kiwi vine, Grape vine and figs.

Vegetables for growing indoors on a window sill:

Aubergines, Chillis, Brocolli sprouts, Tomatoes, Basil, Coriander, Salad leaves, Lettuces and Pea shoots.
