Yes, The Secret Garden Centre will be open for the August Bank Holiday. We will have a large selection of herbaceous perennials, bedding plants, and shrubs to give your garden a boost of colour for late-summer.

Anemone Collection 3Ltr £8.99 each

These charming perennials are ideal for late-summer / early Autumn colour in the garden. Their open, cupped shaped blooms come in shades of white and pink with bright yellow or orange stamens. They are perfect for growing in full sun or partial shade, in containers or the border.

Verbena Bonairensis 3Ltr £9.99

Now is a good time to plant Verbena Bonairensis to get them well-established for next year. Verbenas provide height, texture, and colour to the back of the border in late summer. Bees and Butterflies love them!

Kniphofia aka red-hot poker is a favourite of bees in the late summer. We have Kniphofia ‘Banana popsicle’ and Kniphofia ‘Papaya Popsicle’ in stock now. Add them to a cottage garden or tropical garden design. They are easy to care for in a sunny spot in the ground or patio pots. Once established they can be divided to make more plants.

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Living Little Love’ 3Ltr £20.99

This compact Hydrangea grows to just 80cm making it perfect for the front of the border or for growing in patio containers. Blooms change from lime green to white and then pink with age.

These astilbes are already around 50cm tall. They are the perfect perennial for growing in a shady and damp spot. They will take a little sun as long as they are kept moist. Full of pale pink or white plume like flowers.
