We wanted some plants for our flat, the staff here were unbelievably helpful. They took us round explaining what would be best and telling us stuff we would never know. Prices are great, couldn't recommend highly enough!!

My first visit to this lovely garden centre on a Sunday afternoon. What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful space with a vast array of plants and gardening accessories. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and seem to love what they do. The plants were well looked after. I'm a novice to the green fingered world, but will look forward to visiting this little gem again.
I love coming to this garden centre. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. It’s very organised and well kept, the space outdoors is so beautifully arranged it feels a little bit like you’re in a botanical garden. A couple of times I’ve come just before they close and they were still very gracious and helped me even though I had a lot of questions as I’m developing my own little garden. I used to go to the local homebase a lot but the staff there make you feel like you’re bothering them where these guys really seem to enjoy what they do. I highly recommend a visit, even just to walk around, and make sure you go to the inside bit as well they have one of everything it seems. Also they give you money saving tips where they can. It’s tucked away behind Supervalu, I’m so glad I discovered it!

Beautiful little hidden gem, tranquil hidden oasis filled with beautiful plants to inspire one’s creativity and imagination. Absolutely loved my visit and will return soon. Not badly priced, plants are healthy and well kept. Many varieties for every garden, no matter if it’s a window box or an orchid. A must see if you enjoy gardening.
Nice to have a great local garden centre. Always a lovely visit. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Special shoutout to Imogen who patiently listened to my ideas and preferences, offering invaluable advice on plant selection and the best plants perfectly suited to my garden's conditions. Imogen's passion for gardening and genuine desire to help customers clearly shines through. I highly recommend seeking out Imogen for anyone in need of expert gardening advice! Thank you Imogen - really appreciate your help during my past few visits :)

Apart from being a beautifully planted place the lack of traffic makes this a really tranquil location. Good quality plants and sundries for the garden. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.A hidden gem just off Westow Street by Sainsburys
Cannot recommend highly enough! It's like walking into the literal "Secret Garden" and finding Ben Weatherstaff and his robin! Beautiful selection of plants with loads of info. Staff are well informed, friendly and so welcoming. My new favourite shop that I will definitely spend far too much in 🪴💕
Knowledgable, friendly staff and a good range of plants (I went to buy lavender, and there were several varieties to choose from, all reasonably priced).
A hidden gem. Bought two lovely plants: English Ivy and a peace lily. Very good value. Also lovely selection of seeds including wildflowers from Kew and plenty of veg seeds. Nice card selection too. Parking in Sainsbury’s is great - 3 hours free so you have time to see this place and other shops around the triangle.
Head down the windy side road to Sainsbury's and on the right is the hidden surprise of a well stocked garden centre. Even in the depths of winter they had a great selection of plants, bulbs and seeds for some instant colour or later in the year. Well worth a visit.
To the man with the big beard - you are so unnecessarily rude. I have never been spoken to like that in any shop, anywhere else in the world. You've just lost a local customer.
Delightful, small but well stocked garden centre. The shop is also well stocked. We bought a plant that looked well kept and health. Worth a visit, but take the first left, for Sainsbury car park.

A dreamy place, I could spend hours wandering amongst the gorgeous selection of plants. The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and patient with my dummy gardener questions.
We had the most wonderful Christmas Tree buying experience here last Saturday. We casually rolled in at 17.55 not realising they were about to close. A lovely man greeted us as though he had all the time in the world and asked us what we were looking for and then he proceeded to unwrap the most beautiful and perfect Christmas tree. I have never before bought the first tree I’ve seen so this was quite something in itself. He didn’t rush us, he chatted, he showed my daughter the netting machine for the trees, shared a joke with us on the way out all in a very charming and softly spoken manner. When we got back to our car we all said we felt like we had just met Father Christmas and what a truly magical experience it was. I hope he’ll be there again next year! 🌲🎄
its tucked away in Crystsl Palace so doesn't get too busy. they have an amazing range of plants and friendly staff that give advice. I'm so glad they have been able to reopen and are sticking to the Social Distsnce rules.
I have no gardening knowledge and the staff helped me identify plants that even I can’t manage to kill! That was over 2 years ago. I just don’t think you get that level of customer service in garden centres that are part of a chain.
I love Secret Garden Centre from the bottom of my heart x All the staff are knowledgeable and charming and the plants are a delight. I could eat their compost it is so yummy x everyone should shop here at least once a week for their health and well-being xxx S
always helpful. Lovely stock. Love their vegetable section. Also over the last 13 years good advice. Just needs a little coffee and cake area to be perfect.
